  About Our Company 

Ted McCahan, Horologist,  is a member of the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors (NAWCC) and received his clock repair training with the American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute (AWCI).   

A trained machinist and woodworking educator with over 30 years of experience, Ted is skilled in clock diagnostics, repair and restoration involving both metal fabrication and fine woodworking.  This unique combination of experience allows Ted to provide comprehensive restoration and repair expertise to customers for all types of clocks.   

TM Clocks has a solid reputation as a trusted business. Ted is committed to providing quality service to each and every customer, believing that his business reputation is his most valuable asset.

Ted is a life-long resident of New England, an avid bicyclist, Nordic skier/skater, motorcyclist, artisan and musician.  Ted grew up in Brunswick, Maine and Barrington, Rhode Island before establishing his home in Plymouth, New Hampshire with his wife of 33 years, Barbara, his daughters Claire and Molly.


Ted has also been the wood shop educator/counselor at Camp Pasquaney on Newfound Lake in Hebron, NH for the past 21 years.  Many of the clocks that Ted has restored grace the halls of regional and local offices, schools and homes with the hallmark of being on time!
